My family and I just started raising five chickens since April 6th. We learned a lot since we started. Have large backyard and purchased a movable coop from Omelet! Named and befriended all five since birth. Realized a month ago that we had a rooster in the mix.
Trying to find a home for our rooster but no one wants a rooster.
Any ideas on reaching out to people wanting a beautiful black rooster for free?

Welcome to BYC, your chickens are beautiful! In addition to ideas already mentioned, many feed stores provide a free community board where people can list items for sale, trade or free. I know for sure Tractor Supply does, and 2 of my other area feed stores do too.

Welcome. I agree with @DobieLover. You need to be careful not to give him to someone that may use him for cockfighting. Some of this can be avoided by getting pictures of the hen flock.
