My new favorite chicken book

I must have 5 or 6 books on raising chickens by now - all of them really great - but started one yesterday that really stands out for its thoroughness:

Storey's Guide to Raising Chickens
Care-Feeding-Facilities

I'm traveling alone and was sitting with my book in a rather fine restaurant last night when the wait person approached, and, trying to make conversation, asked what I was reading. When I showed her the cover (complete with a photo of a clutch of yellow chicks) her jaw actually dropped.

I think she was expecting Jane Austen...

Anyway, I'm really enjoying the book.

It is my go to guide. I have heard differing opinions on things here, but when I need a final answer, I go to Storey's Guide to Raising Chickens. You can't go wrong.
