Last weekend I picked up Miss Athena, she is a Flemish Giant/American Chinchilla cross. She was born May 11, 2012, so she is still a toddler.

I have her in a pen with my two other bunnies, Bunny and Clyde (all 3 are girls). She is naturally the largest (but youngest) of the three and has found a way to escape the pen (took her about 5 days to figure it out) but not a way to get back in.

So yesterday I leave for work and come back about 10 hours later to find Athena hopping happily around my living room and I find my pepper plant turned into a stick.... a 2 year old Aneheim Pepper plant with peppers growing on it... she ate the entire thing, including the clover and small strawberry plant growing in the same pot... Sad day [I was REALLY looking forward to those peppers!]

I have now lifted all of my leafy plants off the floor and out of bunny reach. Oy!

At least she was good about going back to the pen area to potty (it was outside the pen but in the area none-the-less).

Just thought I would share that story... Got to love bunnies
