stilwellchick , I was thinking of getting some Rhode Island Reds , Buff Orpingtons or Barred Rocks . I'm only planning on getting 4 or 5 maybe 6 at the very most .

That is one great looking set up. You should be proud of your work. I think that the cedar shakes are AWESOME !!! Keep doing work like that and you will have a good name for yourself when it comes to building things. And I love the fact that it didn't cost you anything. I'm hoping that I can follow your example on that part of it as I do our coop.
