No hes just 14 weeks old and right now if they get to close he grabs their tail feathers, kinda like the little boy that sticks the girls pig tail in the ink well.

good idea, although most ducks and geese don't usually pick up things like that if they have water to swim in.

Yeah, I dont think they have any. What else could they have? They dont have bumblefoot thats for sure.

well how do they look to you? in the pics they look very healthy. but seeing them up close is the key to how they are. I really don't have a place to quaranteen any of my ducks so i brought them home sprayed them down with oxine mixed with water and put them out with the rest. I'm not saying you should do that, that has to be your decision, I just went by how they looked and it's been good for us. These 3 babies hadn't even been touched till I reached in a got them out of the net friday so they are pretty scared of us, but hopefully with a little time and goodies they will come around. Have yours been around people much? how old are they?

They look perfectly healthy. I have a few more pics ill put up in a minute. I do have them in a guarantine pen that I put them in.

They have been handled by their last owners, so they are friendly. They are a bit flighty but I think thats only because of the car ride. The lady I got them from didnt hatch them but she said they were hatched early this spring. And they started laying last month. I think I fell in love again! I cant get over how pretty they are though.
