Haha! Oh my, I wish I could get my boys to lay like that!! I would have bruises and scratches all over and would be surrounded by a pile of feathers.

They do dont they? Lol. I cant wait to hatch some khaki eggs though! Lol. I also sold her four rouen hatching eggs for 1 dollar (she didnt have much cash, and I was taking her layers away to lol) she only had two eggs from these two girls. They were with a mallard drake before (cfcso those would be half and half, and she REALLY wanted some rouen eggs) but soon they will have the cutesst boy friend EVER!!! My drake looked at them and it looked like he fell in love too. Lol. I think hes the cutiest duck in my whole flock lol.

Oh and.i named them Bella and Trix. Like from harry potter Bella-trix. Lol. Bella is the crested and trix is the smaller one.

Sounds like they couldn't have gotten a better home, wish you all the best with you new girls, how are your ducklings doing? have you posted poictures lately?

We're about at capacity here, with a possibility of adopting a few more runners from a neighbor, so seeing these lovely muscovies and khakis has been a real treat!
