My new hatched chicks! (post yours too!)

Here’s my 9 that hatched from Monday night to Tuesday afternoon 30th/31st. I have a post with individual pictures under “curious about breed”. We had 10 live chicks hatching but it looks like it

rolled and ended up with its beak through the wire and into the water wells that contained water for humidity. Woke up to a motionless, quiet egg that was no longer hatching . Needless to say I’m going to try to figure out balancing humidity level with water we’ll level for chick safety.

Waiting on mine to hatch now. Should be anytime between now and Sunday (out of town when she started sitting so not exactly sure of the date). I’ll add pictures once they’re here!

Went to check on them and mama was off the nest! Not sure when she got off so I don’t know how long they were sitting there without her. I found her out with the rest of the flock fighting another hen. I though they pretty much stayed on the eggs all the time towards the end so I’m really worried!!!
