Oh I wanted to add.... you may want to get rid of that newspaper and use papertowels and then use straw or pine shavings. The newspaper can quickly cause chicks to have straddle legs and slip tendons and such because it doesnt have enough traction for them....

I only use newspaper for the fist two days after they hatch due to the fact that they just lay around. After the two days are over, I switch to sand
