My new little girl....

Just got her from the flea market a couple of weeks ago and this is her first day (out of quarantine) in the big pen. I asked the guy I bought her from if he was the one who bred her and he said no. Then I asked who he bought her from and he gave me the phone number of the farmer that sold him the birds. I have have yet to be able to get a hold of him. This is the second really blue girl that I have. I want a little boy!!

What did she look like as a youngster? (3-4 weeks old) Did you have her then? I have one that's about 6 weeks old now, and he had a lot of 'white' on him when he first got all his feathers before they grew in completely (I guess). I've never had one colored like him and was wondering what it was. He looks like a regular brown now, but I wonder if he's a carrier for something else?
