My new Marans :) male or female?

I bought a pair of chicks of Marans chicken and I want to know their sexing..

Too young to accurately sex. The combs are small and pale so far, and that's a good sign for pullets. Try again in a few weeks.

Welcome to BYC! How old are these chicks? I'm going to guess 3 weeks? And I'm going to say pullets. I know I know. Everyone says you can't sex till 8 wks- but marans give themselves up early. If either is a boy that comb is going to come out of nowhere real soon.

Here's a pic to show what I mean. 6 wks in this pic and that comb had been like this well over a week already. All my boys have been like that so far. The other BCM is a very slow developer but looks exactly like BCM pullets less a few feathers. That is the only one I've ever questioned at 5 weeks. (Now 9 wks and I still say it's a pullet) So. Your chicks aren't slow Developers so I'd watch them for a week and then feel pretty good about what you think.
