We ended up putting him into a much smaller roll of hog wire. We had made a circle (about 12' across inside the circle) out of hog wire for our chickens Staked it up with lath and it had been a mobile chicken pen by wrapping chicken wire around it and putting big chickens or silkys that dont fly much into it. We just picked up a side led Ed in and dropped it. Then hubby staked it down with two plastic fence posts. It worked. He stayed into it till DH got home. when I got home Ed was standing by the chicken pens watching them. DH was brushing him and got tired and went inside for a while lol. Ed just stayed within 15' of where DH left him! What a good little pony! I had a concert at the daycare I work at tonight so I didnt get a chance to even say hi to my little guy.DH even had him away in garage when I got home. I'll have to love him up tomorrow.
