I just want to share this pic of my boy "Spooky".
It's fathers day and I'm so proud of him <3
Happy Fathers Day everyone.

I comment on this first thing yesterday and my comment has disapeared go figure.
Just wanted to say agan what a beauty it is.
Is it a from 2 cameos? i have one that is from a cameo and blackshoulderd or bronze not sure but i have some more comming this year when they hatch, i love the color, mine is a femal as will be the others i am getting.

Yes he is a little cameo from 2 cameos I am told. I also have 2 white males that hatched with him. His egg was smaller than the whites and he is a lot smaller. I am new to peafowl but all 3 are doing their little dances already so I am assuming they are all males. I LMBO when they do that little prance. I am having a ball raising them. Thank you for the kind comments

My camey girl was smaller also and i have 3 whites that hatched with her, she is now the same size well some days anhow, they are still growing, will be a year old next month.

Girls fan also but i do have 4 IB males and three of them fanned all the time when they were wee babies and still do till this day and they turned out to be males and the other is a IB pied that hardle ever fanned and still doesn't do it to this day.

I have raised up 2 hatches over the last 2 years and i have never seen a female youngester fan all the time like the ones that turned out to be males did so i believe till they show me different here that fanning all the time is a sign of a male, i am getting some more babies this year so i will know more for sure cause 3 out of 3 times seeing this can't be wrong

Oh I didn't know the females fanned too. I'm really new to peafowl. Never been around them until these hatched. I tried looking to sex them. Guess I'm gonna have to wait and see. But that is exciting too. These guys are so much fun.

Yea mine do sometimes but not like the males which i now see all of them fanning all the time.
here is a white hen(baby still ) fanning with 2 males babies also.
