Hello,

My name is Alice Grass and I just brought home 5 Pilgrim geese, 2 ganders and 3 hens. They are so beautiful. They are slowly warming up to me and seem very happy. Here is a shot of them. I never knew geese were so cool:)

Please excuse the bad post/photo....For some reason I can't get the photo turned or in the place that I want it in my post.

Thats a lovely trio you've got there and love the softer colouration of the females. I just know your going to get so much pleasure from them

They are so very pretty. I bet you will have a lot of fun with them. Geese are cool. BTW, you may have to rotate the picture on your computer before loading it to BYC. You can righ click on the picture and see if "rotate clockwise" or "Counter clockwise" shows up. That should fix you right up.

Hello,

Thanks everyone. I LOVE my geese. I could sit for hours and just watch them. My daughter hopes to show one at some point but that is a big bird for a 10 year old to show:) I hope they have some babies for me next Spring!! I actually have 3 hens and 2 ganders. One of my ganders is about 8 years old and the other is a this years hatch. 2 of my hens are in the 5-6 year range and the other one is a this years hatch.

Thanks for listening. I know my husband is getting tired of hearing..."Guess what the geese today?"
