hello everybody! im very pleased to announce-i will be joining this section of the forum, along with my new poults here!!!
i went ahead and got three; they were bought at the feedstore!!! i got three to help avoid the all males-no females problem i had with my two ganders last year. it cost me a pretty penny for two fully grown females!!!
other than that, i tend to be good at picking out baby birds. not to root my own horn, but i can many times tell their sex merely by looking at their face (though i am occassionally wrong) and i would say two males and one female. i didnt look much up their. i stuck my hand in their brooder and the rest ran, but these three started pecking my fingers, so i instantly decided on them!!!
