Did they truly lie to you or was it just an honest mistake? Even hatcheries can only guarantee 90% accuracy and they have a ton of practice. Most of us can only make our best guess based on development at a certain number of weeks. Your new chickens look good and I hope that your 3 hatchery pullets will indeed be pullets! Chickens are hard to accurately sex as chicks, only the most practiced people can vent sex a chick and most rely on feather sexing at birth (like most hatcheries) or watching for development as the chicks mature.
I kept what I thought was 13 pullets and 1 cockerel from my last bunch of chicks and now it's looking like I might have 11 pullets and 3 cockerels. I could have just as easily sold the two changelings as pullets the week that I picked which to keep and which to sell, and I would have done it in good faith. Now I realize that I may have been mistaken about their sex and I worry that some of the pullets I sold may turn cockerel on their buyers! However I wouldn't say I ever lied to anyone about them, I just was 99% sure they were pullets when I sold them and if someone gets a cockerel instead I will feel bad, but I didn't do it to deceive anyone.
