My new pullets

I am going to pick up some pullets from someone who *isn't* a member of BYC this week and I'm a nervous wreck they're going to leave me with more roos. The biggest issue I have with this is pretty much down to my inability to rehome roos. Somehow they're always the oens I get attached to, and I really can't have more than 3 of the guys.

I like the brahma, she's very tame and pretty. I planned on getting 5-6 chicks when I started, then I found out 2 poss 3 were roos. I went to get a couple hatchery born pullets to replace them and brought back four. You know how it is, I need one that color, that color and so on. So now I'm gonna end up with 7-8, pullets I hope. I just hope my coop/run isn't too small cause I'm a lil over what's suggested and don't really wanna give any of them up. (6x10 run, 4x10 coop).

kinda off topic. BUT.... how is your brahma compared too your other chicks?

I have a light brahma that was supposed to be a pullet, then wasn't. I like his personality so danged much I'm making another coop and getting him some girls this week. ...Really, it's nothing to do with just wnating more chickens. He really is that awesome. Really.

She's very tame but I've only had her a couple days so can't tell much more yet. Compared to the other chicks, they're all pretty tame especially her and the BO; with the exception of one of the BA which I'm not sure about roo/pullet, he/she is the devil.

lol my brahmas love attentiona and love to spread their wings and stretch and climb on things and get into trouble xD i love them so much!
