Well, I bought those quail feeders that are made from the pvc and have the s-cut outs. They are working great. I even have to admit I like to let the birds almost empty to whole thing, so when I feed them they all pick a spot and chow down.
Anyways, today I went to check on my 5week olds, and one was stuck in the feeder. I wish I would have had a camera with me. I could barely get him out. It took me about 5 minutes making sure I didn't hurt him. His head was like an old gear shifter going up and down the curves. It was pretty funny. I have no idea how he got in there.
