I gave them some squished grapes the other day. Took them a minute to figure out it was food. Once they did though, FEEDING FRENZY. It was hilarious,

All the quail are doing great. Have heard some attempts at crowing, but they always clam up when I go over to investigate. Should be getting eggs in 2-3 weeks ish! Going to get some pictures this afternoon.

Mr. Friendly enjoying a nice dust bath.

Striking a deal for some grapes. Very tough negotiator.

These little stinkers are a pleasure. So far I have turned over their wood chips once. No smell, the space seems to be handling the waste load nicely. Looking forward to some eggs!

Are you watching for the males? I’m curious how the two Falb fee turned out by now. They had light spots on the chest.

The only one I have noticed crowing so far is a wild type. Have not witnessed any mating yet. I will spiral band the legs of the males and share here as i figure them out though.
