One day this beautiful rooster shows up outside where i work. I have completely fell for this little guy. The weather is getting warmer and he seems to be crowing a lot more. All day! I read some of the other threads as to why they do this but it doesn't make sense all day. I'm wondering is he lonely? Do they get lonely? My boss wont let me find a home for him and I'm worried something may happen to him.

If I were to ever leave this place would he go back t taking care of himself?

Also does anyone know how to change your name on here? I have a misspelled name and can't figure out how to update it.

I believe someone dumped him off.. bummer I know..
He needs companionship or rehomed.

Administration has to do it. You can only change it once.

Honestly my heart is breaking because I know I have to find a place for him or someone to take him. I need help please. I will have to trap him myself so I can find him a home. He completely trusts me so I feel I can hold him but I don't want to hurt him. What would be a safe way for me to catch him once I find a good home for him?

A safe way to catch him is while he is roosting/sleeping.. you' have to know where he does that. There are sanctuaries that will take him. Google whats near you.

OMGosh really? I'm in Columbus/Westerville area. I'm assuming I just look up Chicken sanctuary? Or do you have a good one in mind?

Animal shelter may take him too.....
Yes, roosters often do crow all day, from when they wake up to bedtime. Do you have any pics?
Good luck w him!
