my new run

Here's a pic of my new 8x10 run. Just finished it today. It has a small temporary coop in it for a few more weeks until the youngsters get big enough to mix with my 3 laying hens. Then I plan to remove the smaller doghouse coop and make some adjustments to my larger coop so they can all be together. I hope my plan works.

The little door on the front it where I retrieve my eggs from the nesting box. My future plan is to put another nesting box w/ matching little door on the other side of the big doors once I integrate my young ones in with the big girls.

Thanks everyone. It's a work in progress. I painted it green because it's my husbands favorite color and I'm working on getting him to buy into this whole chicken farmer thing! haha
