My new scovies were taken!!!!

I left a message at 11 and within minutes they called back. The wife was super nice. This morning however the husband called and said they were running late and would not be able to bring them down the hill. I said I will come up and get them. The BF and I drove up and after the husband and the BF got the screaming over with we got to the bottom of it. Kid#1 didn't say a word about knowing whose ducks they were and I guess they did ask a few of my neighbors If they knew whose ducks they were but me only having them for a couple days not too many people knew, I guess. So long story short if the women would have handled everything from the start it wouldn't have been as stressful as it ended up being. I got my babies back safe and sound. They are safe inside the run and the gate where they squeezed under has been fixed. Oh and I got them collars with tags!!! Lol

SO happy!!!!!

I am so happy that you got your ducks back home - personally I would not have had the patience....

Sober or not - theft is theft.... I hope they learned a good lesson from you and hopefully they will never attempt such a terrible venture again!

So glad you got your ducks back! I bet that is infuriating as anything! I have a Shih-Tzu that likes to visit neighboring dogs (he gets off the property sometimes regardless how much I try to keep him on). He went missing for a week or so one time. I knew one of my neighbors had him, just not which one. Anyway, I saw him running down our driveway one day and took him inside. Much to my dismay, whoever had him decided to cut off the fur of his tail. You DON'T cut the tail fur of a Shih-Tzu!!!! At least he was unharmed though. I say all that to say that you never really know your neighbors. I am so glad that you got your babies back safe and sound.

BTW I am also interested in seeing the collars!

Years ago we had muscovies and my neighbor was forever calling us to say ...check out your roof or you'd better get out front and grab that duck out of the road or someone would come knocking on the door with a duck tucked under an arm...is it yours? LOL.We live on main street in town with neighbors close enough to almost look in our windows .. and those ducks were full of mischief with only steps to go to get into trouble ! Collars would've been fun !
