That sign is the best! I love the hen on it. It is such a colorful and cheerful sign with a fat little broody in the middle with eggs and everything. Your wife sure has good taste. Lucky!

You might even have a Schaumloffel in your kitchen. It is a big headed almost flat spoon with holes that is used to skim the foam off of soup or something else that foams when it simmers.

What a nice gift! I looks great, and just kind of "finishes" the look of the coop/run.

And thank you so much for explaining what a foam spoon is; I do, indeed, have one! And I do skim the foam off of soups!

I wonder if you come from a line of soup makers, or something like that?
