I have been looking for 10 years for a stove like this. One i like and can afford and it happened on saturrday. I'm so excited. The color does not show very good it is a cream and a real pale green. I don't think i would be able to use due to it burns wood and insurance reasons.

I LOVE it!

You can get the fireproofing for the floor and walls. It is easy to install.

If that stove is solid and not rusted out I would learn to cook on it. I would even build me a summer kitchen and move it out to be used all year long!

I just have a little free standing wood burning stove for heat. It has a 2 level flat top. I have learned to cook on it! I do alot of my winter cooking on that stove and never turn on my big electric stove especially when I am making soups, stews or stocks. I can do some bread, pancakes on it as well as steaks and chops and bacon or sausage.

It is amazing what you can learn to do if you give just try.

I love stoves like that! And really anything antique. I would totally try to cook on it.
(We have the same linoleum)

That is wonderful. As and antique dealer I can tell you they are getting so hard to find in that condition. You did good!!
