This was my forst attempt at Incubation, and I had a 60% hatch, so not too shaby I think, especially since most of the eggs were shipped.
These abbies are 23 days old now.

how beautuful the babies are, these you birthed from eggs? congratulations and the unknowns will be special indeed.

From the white spot on the heads of those Marans, and the lighter coloring, it looks like they may be roos. It looks, from the pics, to be pretty defined.


I love Maran roos. They are truly gentle giants.

As I said in my post, I love Maran roos. The ones we have are such sweet hearts. They eat out of our hands and come running when they see us to find out if we brought them any goodies. And they are VERY impressive looking


In the pic their legs look yellow. Was that just the flash???
