Hi,
Love you guys! Thanks so much for the collective help!

My newly hatched chick is covered in dried egg fluids (she looks like one of the punk rock girls I went to high school with back in the 80s. Mohawk and everything.) I kept it separate until the yolk dried up and fell off, but now that I put her in with the other two they are trying to eat the dried gunk off of her. I can't really keep her separated from the other two. What are my options?

Using very warm running water, baby shampoo, and 1 soft toothbrush. Work gently and slowly and may take 5 full minutes or more. Dry it off gently by wiping with a paper towel and put the chick back in the incubator until dry, fluffy and active. Works for me every time.
