This is a goat grain that I got from the same place as the goats, but it seems really dry to me. I am only giving a coffee cups a day total to 2 Nigis and still they don't eat it all and barely touch it while I am milking them. Could this be the reason I'm not getting much milk? I read somewhere they prefer horse grain?

They are eating their alfalfa hay and they nibble on some weeds...

How long have you had them? They could still be nervous from the move.
I picked up a milking doe 2 weeks ago and while she will let me walk up to pet her, she still must have had a nervous stomach because she just started eating her dairy goat pellets today with any gusto. I thought it was the pellets but it must have been the move.

Ok, maybe thats it. They have only been here a week so they must not be relaxed yet although they are complete sweethearts.
