My noise making heckler!

I have one hen in particular that is so loud! She just gets in these fits and squawks for ten mins loud as all get out! Normally when I let them out in the morning it's an issue so I have been providing treats and letting them free range early out of the run. I don't know what else to do I feel bad for my neighbors! I'm thinking I need to offer them a few fresh eggs for the noise she makes lol

Hens are loud, this is true. Some more than others, but they do make a lot of noise. Nothing much to do about it, unfortunately.

Yea they do make noise! All my neighbors have chickens except the one to the right and they are not very friendly and already complained that cats are pooping in their yard and the neighbor behind them has a loud dog so I know my chickens making noise is going to rattle them. I do give the a huge bag of home grown zucchini! Around 10 of them. I'll just have to shoot over some eggs every now and the.

I have found that receiving huge bags of zucchini are not necessarily welcome, and often downright annoying, unless specifically requested...lol!
Feed the zuchs to the chooks.

I agree, we had a bumper crop of zucchini this year, a person can only eat/use some much zucchini since it doesn't freeze or can well. The hens loved it though.

Give them eggs!

Yeah if they don't have chickens or are avid bakers for a family of 20 more than 1 zucchini is a burden not a blessing. Eggs are many times appreciated. I take 10 small zucchini to my workplace of 300 and usually it takes a full 2 days for people to take them all haha.

That's crazy!? I love zucchini and loved it when I got some from people. I am an avid veggie eater more so than fruits. Oh well I guess I am the weird one hahahaha

I'll drop some eggs over their this weekend. I have 15 right now I could spare a half dozen to smooth things over

And oh my gosh! She was goin off this morning. A 45 min tangent I brought her inside and laid her in my cats fluffy cat bed. She sat there for a min and started to sqwak out of control again. I think she is going broody? She freaks out when any other hen is in the nesting box. Maybe I need to make her another nesting box that is kept away from the other birds so she can sit and lay for a while without interruption.

Another nest separated from rest of flock might work.

Coop is a bit on the small at side I am currently looking into hand building my own out of wooden crates :/ haha
Coop is 3x4 with two large nesting boxes the nesting box was broken into three sections but I felt they were too small so I made two instead. The girls seem to like the larger boxes.
The run is broken up into three sections, underneath the coop is a 3x5 area, middle section that has full sun is 5x5, and I converted under the trampoline into a shades part for roaming that is 12x12 feet

Yea I am thinking she needs privacy and to be left alone and try are 21weeks as of today
