i used to have the same problems telling with my does. i would say "in the next several hours" for about a month. i've got one who's udder has been growing for some time and shes not due for almost a month. a good sign she's real close is when she kicks at you and milk squirts out. i know this from experience.

the discharge can go on forever, trust me.
your sure she wasn't coming in heat?

My parents are headed in from Florida (will be here in the wee hours of the morning). The LAST time they both came for a visit, ALL of my does due kidded while they were here. Good luck charm, perhaps?

I swear every time I go outside I have something new in the pasture, and have to move it to a kidding shed or a Jug. She sure looks ready to me Kate. We just had our third ewe lamb 2 days ago and we have one more pregnant ewe. Goats are done! We got one nigerian buck and 2 cashmere/spanish does. I pray your kidding season goes well!
