Here I was thinking that they were extra sulfuric/ eggy smelling and you couldn't eat them or that they stucnk up your kitchen, or worse.. Made your gas smell.. well, more farty?

Yeah, hopefully she'll start laying normally again to avoid her being culled.

I had a favorite hen who layed until she was about six years old, then stopped. I kept her because she was my little chicken buddy, even though she'd already gone through chicken menopause.

We had one right before Henrietta started laying again, so it *could* be a very good sign. Ours didn't have any yolk, just a bit of white. Hilarious little thing though... at first (before looking it up here & also cracking the thing) I thought maybe it was from another bird.

Henrietta is a RIR if that matters at all and she is about 2 years old. She lays about every other day right now (and through the winter). She laid an egg right as I picked her up early September from her previous caretakers and then another couple, then stopped for a couple of months, fart egg, then regular-ish laying. Good luck!
