my one day old quails are dying

I have just bought over 150 quails but some of them cant walk while others get soaked in water -though ive put stones in the water- but some seem to be weak :around 6 of them.

where the quail shipped in or just purchased? I don't know anything about quail but, sounds like they were not in good condition from the start. Maybe you could get them to drink from nipple waterers so they won't be soaking wet. Are they eating okay? Are they being kept warm enough and out of drafts? Is there enough room for them in the brooder or are they walking all over each other?

The stress of shipping/transporting can be hard on newly hatched. Separate out the weak so that they are not being trampled and pushed into the water. Hopefully they will regain strength.
