It all started when we ordered 15 Buff Orphington chicks from Cackle Hatchery, I don’t know what happened to her- if she hatched this way or she got injured on the journey to here, either way, she’s my love bug and I’ll do anything to help her feel comfortable. Meet “Googles”, my beautiful buff orphington with a weird eye.
To answer some questions regarding her that I seem to get often
:
-Does her eye hurt or cause any sort of pain?: No the eye doesn’t hurt her in any way- it just looks bad.
- Will you get her eye surgically removed?: I will only get her eye removed if it starts causing her pain or becomes infected and I can’t help it.
- Can she see out of that eye?: She is completely blind in that eye. She does get eye boogies that I have to clean off everyday.
- How old is she?: She’s only 3 1/2 months old.
- Where did she come from? What hatchery?: Cackle Hatchery
