Hello my backyard chicken friends,
I have 14 hens and one rooster. They are all a year old. Mine forage during the day and go in their coop at night. They all look real good and healthy and the hens are laying eggs. I have one hen that I saw for first time when I went to lock up the coop two nights ago just inches from the coop outside laying on her side with one wing out. It thought she was hurt but she was fine, put her up in the coop and she sat on her roost and went to sleep. I'm seeing her occasionally droop one wing and kind of off balance, leaning to left. She still eats and drinks and runs off with the hens to forage. Any ideas or should I do something different for her? I got them vaccinated when they were chicks from the breeders. Thank you for your help and time. I added a picture of my type of hens.
