I have 5 chickens, EE#1 and Blk sexlink loooove their feed, they are the biggest two in the flock. EE#2 eats feed readily, but not as heartily as the other two.
And then there's my two Orloffs who seem to nibble at the feed, then go forage. Which would be fine, only they never seem to be full... the other three always has full crops, while I can barely feel my Orloffs' crops
My orloffs are the smallest ones in the flock, is this normal? should I be worried? Should I feed them something else to encourage them to eat more? When it comes to treats, I noticed that they prefer dried worms over scratch / grains/ greens...
My birds are 11 weeks old, and are fed fermented Dumor's 20% chick starter crumbles, all the birds are fairly civil, they definitely have a pecking order, but I've never seen them go beyond fluffing up their feathers at each other.
I'm a bit worried they will be stunted
