My Outside Brooder

This is a coop i built last year to use as my "hospital coop"...we had it all planned out to paint a big red cross above the door, lol. It obviously still needs work to finish it (roof, paint).

Anyway, it never got used so we decided to move it up to the side yard and use it as a brooder since everyone is getting so big now. Suprisingly enough it holds heat well with just 1 (very secured!) heat lamp...I'm very happy with it so far!...I'm glad i never got around to putting a window in it

The scrap-made nest box turned out really weird looking but oh well, im sure if i re-use it they'll still lay in it!
...but then again i might build a new one, lol.
