My outside Quail started crowing!!! YAY!

I'm soo excited! I'm betting I start seeing eggs soon! Even if they're frozen im still going to do this:::

My mom and I were outside loading up some hens I sold, and I heard the "WAAKKKGGG!!!" (it's more funny to hear me do their crow impression in person

) ANYWHOO....obviously they're getting enough light already! WOOHOOO!!!

ANyone else hearing theirs crowing yet?<---- edited to add, coturnix that are outside crowing I mean. lol

I got all my little button chicks crowing...not sure who's doing it yet though...

Mine hasn't crowed yet, but he does chatter a lot. And I noticed the female tryine to evade him yesterday, so I'm thinking he's starting to feel frisky

Hurry up and grow, inside babies, I need more girls!

Might just stick them with the jumbos for now, there are more girls to share.

Ours live outside on the side of the brooder barn. It won't be long to set some eggs.

I love that sound. Totally different from painted button quail. The sound of our's crowing carries further than the sound of the roosters.

Yep my coturnix quails are starting to crow a little, just to know that spring is only 2 1/2 weeks away. I love the crow sound they make it feels like life in the woods.
