My wife has a rat.. er, MinPin who would run around the coop and run none stop when we first got the chicks in it. It's been 6 weeks or so now and he has mellowed somewhat. I won't kid myself into thinking he wouldn't get after one if he was outside while they are free ranging. BUT he better not kid himself into thinking that I prefer keeping him over my chickens. Momma works long hours.... what happens while she is gone can be covered up by a very creative imagination.....

OOOOH! those puppys are SO CUTE!!
Mine looks nothing like that!!
I wish I could figure out how to upload a picture. I spent a while trying to do it but got frustrated.
We were outside building a retaining wall all day today and my little cochin kept jumping the coop. I think she wanted attention!
