My Parakeets first time eggs

My parakeet laid 4 eggs inside the nesting box and 6 on the floor of the cage. Its been about 24 days since the last egg was hatched. The mom (Lulu) sits on the six and dad (Eddie) sits on the ones in the box. I haven't checked the box to see if any are hatched but the six are still eggs and I read its 18 days to hatch. Should I just get rid of any egg that isn't hatched yet? I feel bad because they both sit on the eggs all the time

Males don't brood eggs sounds like you have two hens. Males will sit in the box next to the hen on egg but never sit on the eggs.

I thought that they may both be females but I've seen them mate. The "male" is in the box so I'm not exactly sure if he is on top of the eggs or not I will try to leave the top open so I can see better. I will leave them a few more days but did see that there are now 2 more eggs in the box then I originally thought. Here is a picture of them. I think the white one is male

Both are hens your albino is a hen the other is a clearflight pied hen. Ones in condition the other probably went out. Male albinos have very pink ceres. Most inos are born hens. mating has to do with dominance.

Ive been breeding budgies for years. Allot of people assume hens have pink boys have blue. You could get an adult male to get lil chicks. They are fun to have.
