I have introduced my new Pekin ladies to my current two and now have a flock of 5 lovely Pekins. They were loving the sun we had today. I had to put the black one in a cage for a while cos she kept getting too feisty but shes now settled into the pecking order, just took her a little longer than Pip.

Introducing:

Snap (cuckoo), Crackle (mottled), Pop (mille), Pip (partridge), to be renamed - any ideas? (black):

They are cute. Are you in Europe? Most of the posts about Pekin chicken breed seem to be from the UK. They remind me some of bantam Cochins.

The only name that comes to mind right now is Cocoa Puff which stays with the cereal theme (at least here in the US).

They are so beautiful! I bet you are in the UK, they have so many different colours for pekins. They are very sweet birds, the only kind of chicken I've seen who will comfort another sick chicken.

Yes I'm in the UK. They are very sweet, the buff mille fleur one is exceptionally friendly and let's you hold her and eats out your hand. The barred one is top hen, she's very calm but they all know she's boss. I love how fluffy they are and I've also had a couple of eggs from them so they are doing well!
