If it's still in his crop or esophagus, massage it back up and out or it will probably get stuck in his gizzard and he'll die.

That's educational. Thank you! Is a ducks internal system relatively equal? I have seen very few actual photos like this and I find them very helpful in understanding what is going on inside my chickens.

I'm pretty sure that the same pictures would work for all poultry.

I've necropsied a few gizzards and I just don't see how a solid mass could get through one.

From what I understand ducks do not have crops well at least not like a chicken. At least that is what I have been reading. I have beenmassaging his neck but there hasn't been much luck. I am not completely sure he ate a super ball. He was drinking out of a puddle in our yard and I saw him tilt his head back to get something down when it first went in it didn't look like a ball at all it was skinny and long then as it went down in his neck it looked round. He is still eating, drinking and pooping and he is getting some solids out and some pebbles came out too.
