My Pekin duck just died

I don't understand my duck Affie just died. She was fine all day long about mid day she started to stand around with her eyes closed. We have seen both the duck & chickens do this so we weren't alarmed. she finally laid down with the rest of the chickens. last night when I checked the coop to see if everyone had put themselves to bed she wasn't there. we check and my husband said she's under the palm. I reached down to get her and she didn't move. we checked her body over pretty closely and could not see any bits, scratches,etc. there was no swelling or anything else we could identify as cause. She was an Easter baby and happy with her flock. Has anything like this happened to you?

I don't have ducks, but one of my BRs seemed to be doing fine. At about a week old (if memory serves me) as I watched, just suddenly stopped eating, drinking and just stood around. It was dead by the next day . No idea why. Sorry for your loss!
