And they went right for the food bin! Piggin' out like there was no tomorrow.
I tried giving them water first by wetting their beaks but they didn't seem to know what the waterer was so I put in marbles and their curiosity got them started. These are the fiestiest chicks I've ever seen! They seem really healthy and are quite cute of course
I called MPC yesterday afternoon and they were getting ready to be shipped so I asked where they were being shipped from and she told me Ohio. So I thought that would be Meyer hatchery.
So, I got onto the USPS web site and went to express mail. I put in the zip code for Polk Ohio and then my destination zip, and voila, there it told me that my package should be at the destination by 3 pm today.
I got a phone call from the PO @ 12:30 saying that my chicks were there. YAY!
So, if anyone gets antsy about when you're babies will arrive this is one way to save a bit of your sanity, it did for me
I will try to get some pics up later, thanks for all the info that this site provides. Its great!
