My Pet Chicken shipping to Florida?

I was wondering if anyone knew how much it costs to ship 10 chicks from my pet chicken to Florida.

Box fee is probably $5
one day express shipping is around $40
heat pack $5
I do not know if they have an (under 25 count) processing fee.

I would think shipping would be around $45-$50

I got my chicks from MPC and am in CT,,I believe they are shipped express mail (you have to pick them up at your local PO)...I ordered 10, paid 36.00 for shipping and no fee for a heat pack.

If you go to their website, there is a place to click in your zip code, they will tell you the minimum you have to order (mine was 6) and you can just call them and ask shipping charge..I 'think' it's a flat rate of 36.00 but could be wrong on that.

I have only positive things to say about my first order from MPC, they shipped on a mon afternoon and I got them on Tues Morning.

Right now with it being really hot, you may want to order extras in case any pass from the heat/stress of shipping..MPC WILL credit you for any lost birds within the first 48 hours.
