5 EEs

5 Exchequer Leghorns

5 White Crested Blue Polish

And

5 Light Brahmas...


At least that's my wish list now.

If I get a good hatch with some decent pullets in September then I may not order at all.

I have an order shipping from Ideal hatchery on 3-25 for 9 pullets. We specified 3 different breeds, 3 of each. The total cost was less than $32. I went with them because they will accommodate small orders and don't charge a wing-and-a-leg to do so.
Can't give any reports as to service or survivability until our babies come.

Ideal's customer service has always been very friendly to me. I've never had problems with the chicks being unhealthy, either. Their chicks are hatchery quality, but good chickens for the backyard flock.

I've gotten most of my chicks from Ideal Poultry. I have an order coming in Friday, and I only ordered 5 chicks.

i ordered my 10 from mpc - they are great to work with. i first ordered marek's vax and then changed my mind...very easy. they do charge a great deal for shipping - but i i think they are shipped better than most.

still waiting on my order...4/27 - because i ordered 6 diff breeds.

i liked the use of the website telling about all the breeds. and using the chix tool to determine which breed is best for you.

i have heard cackle is GREAT - i first placed my order there, but did not want 15 - so i ordered from mpc.

you can order a small order from Ideal, just minimum sell is 20.00 dollars. Maybe somebody already told you that, but thought I would mention it.
