My pet mallard is getting more aggressive

I have mallard duck since he was a week old, he is now almost a year old. He is an inside/outside duck, he is the only one I have but he has a HUGE pen and pool to play in during the day when I am not home and when I am home he is inside with me. A month ago he started this thing were he will bite any part of my skin that he can see latch on and start to kind of like flock me with his wings. He also follows me so closely when I am outside with him I can barley walk without stepping on him, if I am laying outside he wont leave my side and will sit there constantly biting me. I dont know if this is a mating thing or if he is lonely and if i should get him a companion or what to do. Any suggestions, I have no idea what to do???? thanks!

Get him a mate, ducks like company, plus he is at that age.

ducks are social creatures. he thinks your his mommy, get him a friend or two and then he'll not be so frustrated..plus he's becoming sexually mature so a girlfriend might calm him down a bit.
