Hi! Figured I'd share my "extended family" with y'all.
I'll start with the rabbits first, since I have a question with one of them.
Here's Chester, a Lionhead buck who I adopted back in '05 or '06, I don't remember now. I was told that he was six months at the time, so he's getting older. He's the sweetest thing!
Here's Timothy. We got him from a girl at the pet store who's in college and just didn't have the time to spend with the bunny and offered him to us. She said that the bunny was a girl, but nope, Timmy is a boy! He's very unsocialized and the only way I can hold him is by the scruff, and I have two scars from trying to hold him normally. And this rabbit is HUGE. Bigger than any bunny I've ever seen, and, his ears are giant! Might any of you know what breed he is?
(Photo not by me, but by my friend Lisa.)
Next are my two cats, who were born on my front porch in March 2005. I owned their father and mother, but their mother ran away after becoming pregnant again and a coyote got their father. They had four sisters that we were unable to keep and we released them in a safe place. (I know, shouldn't have done it because of breeding, but we didn't know that cat overpopulation was a serious problem at the time.)
The top picture is Smokey and the bottom one is Sammy. Both of them are very sweet boys.
I also have three dogs.
Gizmo is a Shih Tzu, born in '07 (I think). He's extremely timid and quiet, but he's a good dog.
We bred Gizmo to my aunt's Pekingese and got one of the puppies who is now a year and a half old. This is Holly, who has some aggression problems but can sometimes be sweet. We have a love/hate relationship.
I now have a new rough collie puppy, Katy, who is eight weeks old. She's a troublemaker but she's very smart. Photo by friend Lisa.
And here's Dixie, who we tragically lost to the highway last summer. My first dog was the sweetest dog ever, a gorgeous cross of Labrador and golden retriever.
I have six rats, who are all my very favorite pets.

And of course, I have chickens, but this isn't the thread for them.
