Great looking birds and friendly.Do you have any problems with the males during breeding season with no blinders in between your pens?Mine seem to want to be in the next pen fighting with the male in the next pen rather then breeding with his hens.I have to have 3 foot blinders in between them so the male will breed his hens.

The only bird that was aggressive towards another was the male reeve. Him and the silver were at it through the wire.
I have moved the reeves now to end pen which has a higher blinder between them and the elliots.
He still does his best to try look in at elliots now.

The trags and silvers are only last years birds so i can put the blinders up more come next year.
I kept them low on purpose this year as there was no problems between them , but mainly to give them a better view and in a way more company and things to look at etc

One thing i have found is the males are way less nervous than the females.

The only birds i can get near are the elliots. Very flighty all the time.
The reeve comes to the door when i am near, so does the silvers, lady and trag.

But i have been talking and feeding them by hand with there favorite treat grapes from day one as well as leaving food in there containers.

I am just wondering is it ok on there system to give each bird a grape chopped up daily.
