What gender is this?(30days)

I hatched this chick 30 days ago from a supermarket fertile egg, so the exact breed isn’t clear. The parent stock was probably Hy-Line Brown‘s a second-generation cross.

Both wattles are already starting to stick out and are turning a light pink. Comb is still yellow.

Does this early wattle color/size point strongly toward a young cockerel, or could a pullet show the same at four weeks?

I'd give it 6-8 weeks old.

Yes, 6 to 8 weeks should do it. Watch for size and color development in the comb. If that comes soon, then you probably have a cockerel.
