My pigeons won't breed!!!

I have 11 pigeons... 6 females and 5 males.

All the females have paired up together and lay 4 eggs in each nest.

I tried to put a male and female in a large dog crate... but they just fight like mad and I am worried they will injure themselves.

What can I do?

I want my birds to actually reproduce!!!!!
I recently lost all my birds to a weasel and just started rebuilding my flock again for the second time.

My pigeons started mating around February 14 (usually the earliest) and would continue raising young if I let them until September. I found exposure to sun light and the lengthening days was the governing factor. I used these as nest bowls (2 bowls and nest boxes per breeding pair) with pine needles or pine shavings

Here is a link to me and my set up after a raccoon attack last year hope it works for you.

So when the male gets affectionate he wants to mate with them? What if it's a peeper? The peeper is not his.. Could it be he's adopting the peeper? He won't go for the older female. . He doesn't seem to like her. And they have been together in a divided cage for over two weeks and a half. I let them out to spread their wings as well as the peeper. They all share the floor but the male will fight with the older female but show affection for the peeper.

are you sure has the older hen laid are you putting two birds togather on someones word are the three from the same place something does not feel right

No.. they are all from different places. The male I had first..
And the second (I'm sure she is a hen) and the third from another.. not sure what the third one is..

It was a mix up. I was going to get a hen from the same guy who let me have his male.. that fell through so I got a female from another breeder.
