My. plans for converting a shed

Thanks for the advice, I think I will re do my drawings. the mistakes are obvious when you point them out, I will repost the up to date drawings. Could you explain elevations? I have measured my arm and it will be fine and I am the the only one that will ever be working in there. Keeping sick birds in there probably isn't the best idea but it might happen sometimes, I have got a couple of other cages for sick birds but sometimes it will be unavoidable so I might as well be prepared for it.

it's good to plan ahead, much easier than redoing later. BUT there'a no way you should consider housing sick birds, or new birds, or birds returning from a show, anywhere near your main flock!!! Consider dog crates in the garage or anywhere far far away and downwind of your breeders. Biosecurity after disaster strikes is pretty sad; try reading some of the Marek's threads, for example. Good luck, Mary

Elevations are basically what you have drawn in the 2nd and 3rd drawings, but your dimensions on the elevation need to match the floor plan.

I've fixed one of them and attached it below. Also you used the squares on the paper to represent feet very well in the floor plan, but you didn't do that in your elevations.

Does that make sense?

Like if you were looking at plans for a house...
...the floor plan is a 'birds eye' view of all the rooms...
...an elevation would be how it looked from the street.
