my polish cant stand

hi i have a 2 year old polish and the other day we noticed that she wouldnt put wieght on her 1 foot then a day later she couldnt walk on either we took her out and put her in a box full of hay but she just sits there with her her head down and now and again her tail feathers are up shes not really eating and we have taken to giving her water with a pipette i have read a lot of forums and all her sysmptoms seem to be a lot of things but after looking through her feathers i have noticed alot of mites could this be the cause? can they paralyze a chicken or isit more likely to be something else i have treated her with mite powder today but she hasnt made any change ino it might take a couple of days but im wondering if it is anything else ?

Yea we've checked tht it's just odd it was so sudden and it's been over a week now
